LMW and K.M. Knitwear partnered in the year 2004 by entering the spinning industry with a 36,000 spindle unit fully equipped with LMW machinery, processing 20s to 40s combed hosiery. This partnership marked a turning point, laying the foundation for K.M Knitwear's future expansions and advancements.

K.M Knitwear Private Limited, founded by Mr. K.M Subramanian in 1993, began with garment exports and has since become a global textile powerhouse. Under the leadership of Mr. Vishnu Prabu KS, Joint Managing Director, and Mr. Karthic Prabu KS, Executive Director, the company excels in spinning, knitting, processing and garmenting with value additions like printing and embroidery. Their success story is deeply intertwined with the cutting-edge machinery and technological innovations provided by LMW.

In 2023, K.M. Knitwear commissioned a new unit featuring LMW’s A-Z Smart Machinery, which includes 32,640 spindles for processing 20s to 40s Ne, combed compact hosiery. This unit exemplifies their commitment to innovation, quality, and efficiency, all facilitated by LMW's state-of-the-art technology.

K.M. Knitwear has not left any stone unturned with having implemented state-of-the-art practices for the infrastructure with its most optimized layout.

Thanks to LMW’s advanced technology, K.M. Knitwear is planning to launch a new diamond quality green yarn which will have the highest standards that are presently in the market.
