Mr. Alamgir Shamsul Alamin
Managing Director, S.A Spinning Mills LTD

Witnessing the boom of the textile industry during the early 1990’s, S.A spinning mills, due to the low productivity of their old first-generation machines decided to upgrade and modernize their plant to meet the increasing market demand.

Revamping the entire spinning line was not an easy decision and based on the guidance of Mr Matin Chowdhury (MD of Newasia Ltd, LMW Agency in Bangladesh) the chairman of SA spinning mills visited LMW factory in Coimbatore. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and the systems being followed at LMW, instilled the confidence in the Chairman that the LMW machines were technologically advanced and were at par and in certain aspects even better than the other leading global brands.

Considering the performance and cost effectiveness of the LMW offerings, S.A spinning mills decided to procure the LMW Ring Frame machine as their first step towards achieving higher productivity while keeping the costs low.

Later in 1995, the SA Group established a new spinning mill in the name of M/s. Fuad Spinning Mills Ltd with 30,000 spindles capacity incorporating 5 Ring Frame, 2 Draw Frame Breaker and 2 Draw Frame Finisher machines from LMW.

The organization is under the current leadership of the Managing Director, Mr. Alamgir Shamsul Alamin, hosting state-of-the-art facilities for producing cotton, PC and CVC yarn.
